SOFIA COBOS

Sofia is a Senior from Westchester, New York, majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Environmental Economics, and minoring in Sustainable Business and Economic Policy. This past summer, she served as a Heart of Conservation Intern at the World Wildlife Fund, where she supported high-level grant strategy to advance Indigenous-led conservation efforts globally. On campus, Sofia is involved with Forte, the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, and her social sorority. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, reading with her cat, and perfecting her signature matcha.

During the Fall 2025 Semester, Sofia will be studying abroad in Madrid, Spain.
