EMILY HONG
Emily is a junior from Shanghai, China studying Economics and German Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences, where she is also a Humanities Scholar. This past summer, Emily interned as a private equity investment summer analyst at Odyssey Investment Partners and spent 7-weeks at Middlebury Language School’s intensive German program. This upcoming summer, she will be working as an investment banking summer analyst at Allen and Company. On campus, Emily is the President of Cornell Equity Research, the Vice President of Internal Affairs for the Cornell Undergraduate Asia Business Society, an Editor for the Cornell Economics Society, an Industrials Associate for the Mutual Investment Club of Cornell, and a member of her social sorority. Additionally, Emily serves on the OSCCS Undergraduate Hearing and Review Panel, and she also works in the SC Johnson School of Management as a research assistant. In her free time, Emily enjoys sampling new eateries, tightening her 40L sprint speed on Tetris, and searching for her next caffeine boost.
